ITALIAN FOODS FOR A JEWISH LIFE

Over 50 years of eating Italian Foods; not worrying if it is Kosher or not. Now, after converting to Judasim, I must convert my Italian recipes in order to make them Kosher.

The most difficult change was not mixing meat and dairy. No veal parmegana or cheese in the meatballs.

Yet, traditional Italian meals are eaten in separate courses. First some antipasto then the pasta (If I now want cheese on the pasta, I make sure the sauce is a meatless sauce) Then the salad and finally the meat course.

Pork products have always been a staple of my Italian eating but now it has disappeared.
