GREEN SALAD
Any lettuce green can be used for a salad although iceberg lettuce is not one of
the choices - it is tasteless!
Fresh, crisp green leaf or red leaf lettuce, broken into pieces (rip it by hand!)
Add a large onion roughly cut make for a basic green salad.
DRESSING:
Simple - for one head of lettuce and onion:
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup imorted Italian wine vinegar
3 large garlic cloves chopped
Season with salt and lots of freshly ground black pepper,p.
TOSS BY HAND, SERVE AND ENJOY
